They lure you in with seemingly low prices, but once you account for all of what you have to put up with, it's just not worth it. The complex is filled with young, obnoxious children with no rules or boundaries, sketchy ghetto sort of people, and nearly everyone smokes (which wouldn't be so bad, if they would put the cigarette butts where they're supposed to go). That's just scratching the surface. Our garbage disposal broke the first day we got there. Our silverware drawer collapsed after about a week (you could tell it had been 'quick fixed' and the wood was crumbling around the screws). And my bedroom (we lived on the bottom floor) carpet was flooded within a week (4 miserable days of burning my electricity with a giant fan that was noisy as all hell just to dry it out) of me moving my stuff in. Then after 2 months, it flooded again. The walls were water-warped, and the place was hardly clean when we moved in.
If that weren't bad enough, I would get notices on my door constantly about random fees or money I owed them, though the notices always failed to specify why. I work during office hours, so it was always really difficult to get in and ask them what was going on. 90% of the time, it was a mistake they had made and mischarged me for something, yet I bet that if I had just paid up without question, they would have kept the money whether they noticed the mistake or not.
At the very beginning, both women working in the office were cooporative and friendly (the tan sort of dark-haired assistant lady stayed absolutely sweet and well-mannered the entire time) but by the end (only after I put in the notice that I would not be renewing my lease) the pregnant, head manager pulled a 180 and refused to work with me at all on anything. My apartment got broken into and 1,500.00 worth of stuff was stolen. When my roommate and I attempted to ask for a ONE DAY extention on our rent (due to the fact that my roommate's purse was stolen, including her half of the money) we were faced with absolutely no sympathy and were charged a 100.00 late fee anyway.
This place is just not worth your time.
