Hands down the most disgusting place I have ever lived. Everything everyone else is saying is 100% accurate. Mice, cock roaches, bed bugs, and mold. No one ever cleans up after their dogs. The lease says children under 14 are not to be left unattended, yet there are constantly herds of children running around causing chaos and climbing all over peoples cars, staring into apartments and banging on windows to make dogs inside bark. They destroy the complex leaving garbage EVERYWHERE. The complex charges campus clean up fees, yet they never clean up the trash. My spouse and I were walking our dogs and we found a bag of heroin on the ground. Theres literally cigarette butts EVERYWHERE. No one has respect or courtesy. Even maintenence trashes the complex, when theyre the ones that should be taking care of it. The complex is trash, the people living and working here are trash. This whole complex should be condemned. Thats the only way theyll be able to REALLY fix the pest issue. The management told us all we had to do was fix the hole under the kitchen sink and the roach issue would be magically fixed. She failed to give a shit about the fact that there are holes all over the damn apartment! The roaches have thousands of ways in! They dont take the issue seriously and then theyre surprised we arent going to re-sign the lease. When we moved in we could see they really did just paint over dead, and live, roaches on the walls, painted over thumb tacks, and tape. They dripped paint all over the floor and counters. The blindes were already broken and covered in years of filth from previous tenants. Theres a huge gap around the door so cold or hot air gets in when it shouldnt. So its wasting our heat/electric bill. The place is absolute trash. One day the lights werent working in the bathroom or vanity area, we called maintenance to fix it and they ended up blowing the outlets and electricuting himself and then leaving. Fixed the lights, but didnt fix the outlets after he ruined them. Luckily we're moving out this month, so we arent going to waste our time trying to get them to fix anything anymore.
Tid bit: Cock roaches can travel 3 miles in 30 minutes. Think about that the next time you consider moving into a small place thats infested with them. They dont pay anyone to scrub the walls and ceilings where cock roaches scurry across. So youre just living in that filth. And paying over $1000 a month to do so, at Atherton Park anyway.
