Unless you have really no other options, don't move here. We had read the terrible reviews but decided to give this place a shot anway. We called, asked some questions, and scheduled a tour. When we arrived my husband waited with our daughter in the car while I went into the office to ask where we should park, as there was no available parking near the office. The secretary was already helping another couple, pressumably signing a lease. She glanced at me, didn't say anything, went back to her papers and I waited for about 10 minutes for her to at least pause and ask how she could help me. She did not, she also had a second couple waiting. The office reeked of cheap cigarettes and pot. I listened to the secretary speak with the couple she was "helping" and every time they asked a clarifying question about the apartment she wouldn't even look at them as she went through papers and would say "I can't answer those questions, I'm just covering for today". At that point I left because I didn't want to deal with a person who dismissed their job or their customer's concerns so easily. I looked around the complex and realized multiple buildings have structural issues. They advertise on multiple apps that they don't permit smoking but there were people standing on their doorsteps smoking as they watched their kids played. The overall feeling of the place is very negative and my husband and I didn't think we could feel safe or comfortable raising our daughter here. I can't say anything about the inside of the apartments. Needless to say I lived in the south side of Chicago for over a year and most apartment buildings there are a good step above these ones. Most of their responses to these reviews are copy and paste based, and it's all nothing but a bunch of wind.
